Planet Productions Develops Training Courses for NetIQ in Record Time

Working on an usually tight timeframe, Planet Productions, a custom eLearning company, developed several interactive, web-based courses for web analytics company NetIQ in just 8 weeks. Generally, training programs of this magnitude require from 3 to 6 months to complete. Revenue generated from these online courses is a new source of income for the company moving forward.

NetIQ is a leading provider of solutions for managing, securing and analyzing key components of enterprise computing infrastructure. For this project, over sixteen hours of existing classroom training materials were converted and condensed into a total 8 hours of training consisting of three interactive web-based training courses – one for each NetIQ product line.

Previously, NetIQ trainers traveled to cities around the US to deliver information in person. Training is now instantly available to NetIQ's customers and is no longer dependant on the schedule and availability of NetIQ's training staff. The courses are also being used to train internal staff and sales channels worldwide.
